An olive-and-brass rotary telephone merges seamlessly with an old-fashioned hand-crank coffee grinder, illuminated like a treasured relic in a dark, atmospheric room. Instead of coffee beans, the grinder is filled with miniature shirtless men, transforming an ordinary domestic object into a sly visual joke about connection, desire, technology, and the changing ways people find one another.
A weathered yellow metal mask lurks almost unnoticed in the background, adding a faintly sinister undertone to an otherwise elegant composition.
